The Pea Pod's Family!
The Pea Pod's Family is a toy design project themed in a storyboard. Instead of normal characters with slides, pea pod's family has their own different characters with adventuristic slides by jumping down. The pea pod house splits into two sides, one is for the pea pod family jumping down in the morning to have some fun, and the other side would be their nighttime routine, which is rolling into their pea pods one by one stacking up for sleep.
The Pea Pod's family lives in a mysterious forest that they would play some hide and seek together in the morning while jumping around to catch each other, then they would roll into the peapod for night time for some rest. They also love to travel around with their buddy by sitting in their pods and looking around with some new adventure.
As we all know toy design is all about playfulness, therefore mock-ups became the most important part to enjoy and play!
From the beginning, I wanted to explore the playful slides into something new and different, but with fun. And while exploring the slides with different mock ups, I started to think about the theme and story behind and here it comes The Pea Pod Family.
